Arnold House was founded in 1905 in St John’s Wood. It is an independent preparatory school located in London, NW8, for boys to the age of 13, and a member of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). 

We want to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Form teacher to join the inspiring and friendly team in the Junior School.

You will have experience of working in Key Stage 1 and passion for teaching.

You will teach subjects across the curriculum to your class of approximately 20 boys, with the support of a teaching assistant. We offer competitive salaries, plenty of non-contact time, generous holidays and are currently part of the Teachers' Pension Scheme. Lunches are free during term time and there is a cycle to work scheme.

There is no deadline for the role, we will assess applications as they are submitted.

Arnold House School is an independent Church of England primary school for boys aged 3-13, located in the St John's Wood area of north-west London. Arnold House School was established in 1905 with just nine pupils. Today there are eight year groups, each divided into two forms.

The school aims for class sizes of between 16 and 18. The main academic subjects are taught with a view to meeting the standards set by the Common Entrance syllabus, which relates to the demands of the national curriculum but with extra time devoted to French, classics and games.
