Vision for Education (part of TES) are a well-respected education specialist supply agency.  Our Huddersfield office covers Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

We are currently assisting a primary school in the Kirklees area in their search to appoint a suitably qualified Year 2 Teacher.  The position is part-time, two and a half days a week, and is to start April until the Summer.

This larger than average primary school is a strongly inclusive community school who aim to provide high quality education which engages and inspires their pupils by offering a safe and nurturing environment.  The desired Year 2 teacher will be working with children who are extremely keen to learn.

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.  This is a great opportunity to join the school and become part of its committed teaching team.  Vision for Education is looking for exceptional candidates to meet our total commitment to our primary schools and the children they support.

To be considered for the position you must:

  • Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 level
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
