We're seeking a Year 5 Class teacher to join our friendly, welcoming two-form entry school.
Let's start with what we can offer you? We're a Greenwich school (paying Inner London Weighting), close to good public transport links via rail or bus, or the benefit of a staff car park. We're located in a residential area within an easy walk of independent shops and cafes and our Heritage School status means we make full use of all the benefits of being close to Greenwich and London in providing children with a range of exciting learning experiences. Despite our proximity to the city, we're also proud of our extensive grounds which give children a wide choice of outdoor learning activities, including a large field, Forest School and Nature Garden, plus the opportunity to grow their own produce in our allotment. Our building is light and airy and well-equipped to deliver our exciting curriculum and our children are well-behaved, enthusiastic learners, who are confident and articulate, and enjoy their contribution to the school ethos through our Rights Respecting Commitment, Children's Governing Body and Enterprise Groups. Do come and visit - we'd love the chance to show you around!
So, can you offer your enthusiasm, drive and passion to achieve the very best for our children and support the school's ethos of 'learning together for life'? You'd be fully supported by our committed staff, with opportunities for peer coaching, release time to work as part of teaching and learning team and the excitement of engaging in exciting whole-school 'Take One...' topics. We also have a strong sense of community and you will benefit from our engagement with partnership working, collaborating with other local schools to provide opportunities for staff to share ideas, access high quality CPD and develop their careers.
If you think you're up for the challenge and the teacher we're looking for, do apply! If you'd like to visit, give us a call to arrange a time - we'd love the chance to show you around! Please contact our friendly office staff to arrange an appointment on 020 8857 3909 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org ; application packs are also available using these contact details.
