ABC Teachers are working collaboratively with a large school in Yardley, Birmingham to recruit for a full time Year 5 teacher to cover a maternity contract, starting at the beginning of October. 

The school is a large 3 form entry which has a dedicated team of staff who work hard to ensure a balanced and challenging education is accessible for all students. The school is overseen by a passionate Head who is continually looking to take the school to the next level of success.

The successful candidate will be a hard working and approachable individual who is a great team player. You will liaise effectively with the relevant phase leaders and you will share your ideas and expertise for the benefit of your class. You will show dedication towards pupil development and have excellent working knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

The role will be full time, with PPA time allocated during the week, and the successful candidate must be able to commit to the role until Summer 2019.

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
