Job overview
Due to expansion, we are seeking to appoint a Year 6 Class Teacher.
You will be the lead teacher of our Transition 7 (T7) class, which is launching September 2021 with a cohort of up to 12 Year 6 students who are joining Stoke College early before continuing into the Senior School in Year 7. You will have the freedom to devise your own core curriculum for your class, who will receive additional specialist teaching from a number of colleagues in subjects such as DT, Humanities, Games and PE.
You will be based in a single classroom at the center of the school to provide the best possible learning environment.
Day and residential trips are warmly encouraged and the school is committed to supporting teachers who plan trips that enhance students’ academic, cultural and life experiences.
