About Windsor School, Old Fort, The Bahamas

Windsor School, a 3 campus, coed, Nursey - Year 13, boarding and day school believes in the holistic cultivation of learners by offering an empowering and scaffolding education; creating a lifetime passion for learning with a global appreciation and awareness. As a registered Cambridge institution offering EYFS provision and an exciting independent primary curriculum based around the  Cambridge Primary curriculum, Windsor Lower School inspires learners to develop a passion for knowledge while giving them the opportunity to earn a high-quality internationally recognised education in a diversified environment.

Windsor Lower School is situated on 5 acres on the island of New Province in The Bahamas and teaches Pre-Reception through Year 6 learners aged 3 - 11.  During the early Pre-Reception and Reception developmental stage, our curricular focus envelops academic, social, emotional, and physiological growth designed to help our learners foster the right openness and joy for learning, relationships, and community.  We believe that a child who is happy, recognised, and celebrated will be prepared for the rigours of a challenging and rewarding education and approach their upper years with confidence.

Following this ethos through Primary coupled with Cambridge programmes our learners are given the opportunity to fully engage themselves in a community-based environment that teaches them to look beyond and think globally in relation to the opportunities that they are building for themselves while celebrating "home" and creating a social consciousness.

At the end of Year 6, learners move to Windsor School Albany Campus. This site offers provision for Year 7 - Year 13 learners and provides a rare academic and athletic upper secondary school experience. Set on 25 acres within the secure, gated resort community of Albany, Windsor School at Albany offers both day and boarding school for learners.

Windsor is actively looking for teachers who believe in setting high standards for education and inspiring new levels of creativity; using new technologies and facilities for sport, art, performing arts, business, and science while instilling the old-fashioned values of respect, compassion, and accountability.
