A school to the north east of Derby is currently seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to join their year 6 teaching staff in an ad hoc intervention role. This is mainly to assist with the teaching of SATs exams and improving the exam technique of a handful of students who are behind the class average. The school have specified that anyone who applies for the role should have previous experience in a similar role or as a year 6 class teacher with excellent classroom management. 

A successful candidate will be joining a school which has recently expanded its staff and are looking for someone who will work well as a part of the year 6 team and is able to bring new ideas and techniques to the classroom. The school have recently been providing more and more professional development and training courses to their experienced staff to bring the standard of teaching even higher. The year 6 group have 2 Teaching Assistants on hand to assist in any lessons or to help with any additional needs of the children.

Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
