We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle Leader Year 9 Pastoral Leader – Tier 2.
This role is a full-time continuing teaching appointment, with an initial two-year appointment as Middle Leader for this triennium.
As Middle Leader, you will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership within the school,
• Supervising teachers engaged in your area of the school,
• Induction of new teachers within your area of the school,
• Pastoral care of staff engaged in your area of the school,
• Other appropriate duties as required by the Principal.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria:
• Hold appropriate qualifications and experience across all areas of Humanities/Pastoral Care,
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
• Proven organisational skills,
• A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum,
• An ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers,
• Attend in detail to innovative and creative practices, and
• Lead the development and delivery of a vision for your area of the school.

To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
