Post title:            YTCA SCITT Link Tutor and Assessor

Reporting to:     SCITT Programmes Lead

Location:            Various Partner schools and the Training and Conference
                                 Centre at Minsthorpe Community College.

Role: The role will involve responsibility for one or more of the                             

                        following:

• Designated Assessment Only Route to QTS assessments

• Nominated SCITT trainees through the Link Tutor role

• The quality assurance of specific SCITT Partner Schools

The nature of this role is not regular hours and requires the SCITT Programmes Lead to allocate work as and when required.  Therefore, it is paid on a ‘per session’ basis.

£240 per day (more than 4 hours) or £120 per half-day (up to 4 hours) for any activities requiring preparation, correspondence with the SCITT team, candidates/trainees and paperwork.

This includes activities such as:

- Assessment Only Visits

- QA Visits

- Link Tutor Visits

- Tutorials

 £20 per hour for any activities that do not require preparation (meeting rate).

This includes activities such as:

- Interviews

- Meetings

- Training events

- Final Assessment Presentations

 You can also claim mileage at 40p per mile to venues excluding the Training and Conference Centre by invoicing us for your time. You will need to keep a Fuel VAT receipt in the event that it is required for auditing purposes. 

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of our Personnel Recruitment specification and be subject to an enhanced DBS check.  A prohibition from teaching check will also be completed for all applicants.
