Job overview
Manage author acquisition, ongoing relationships, and overall satisfaction to grow TES’s classroom resources catalogue in line with the needs of teachers around the world.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role is to ensure we have a growing and happy group of teacher authors around the world. You will lead our strategy and key parts of the delivery in this area, guiding the work of at least one other team member.
Success will be measured by the satisfaction of our author users, and increases in the quality of the fresh material they upload to the Tes site (free as well as paid).
The key responsibilities of this role include to:
• Develop strategies to improve author satisfaction and the uploading of high quality teaching materials (quality matters to us more than quantity).
• Work closely with our users to understand their needs.
• Track, monitor and report author acquisition, activity, sales, and satisfaction KPIs vs. past performance & targets (OKRs).
• Work with marketing to develop author recruitment messaging applied to a wide variety of channels and audiences.
• Arbitrate on decisions about material that should be removed.
• Work cross-functionally to execute programs and action plans across product, marketing, commercial, customer service, and content teams.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategy and plans for authors’ growth and success by combining market and education ecosystem inputs, our competitive environment, teacher input and feedback, and alignment with TES Global strategy.

Person Specification
• At least 2 years in a role that has involved driving digital user engagement.
• A background involving managing online communities, or in ecommerce or product would be helpful.
• Highly motivated, customer focused, collaborative and data driven
• Thrives in fast-paced, fast-changing and demanding work environment
• Interest in education desirable – experience working in education even better.
