Chef – Secondary Site

We are looking for a Chef to join our team.

To be successful, you must:

• Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in catering or be willing to work towards it
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Have previous catering/cooking experience in education or volume catering
• Be familiar with ordering, budgets, invoice processing, and stock control
• Have an awareness of the Government’s Health Eating Initiative and allergen legislation
• Have experience of managing staff

In this role, you will work 32.5 hours per week (8am to 3pm with 30 minutes’ unpaid break), 40 weeks per year.
