Exeter School is the leading co-educational day school in the Southwest, educating over 1,000 pupils aged 3-18. We are looking to appoint a part-time Cover Supervisor to join our happy and flourishing school. This new post is available from September 2024.
This post will involve supervising classes effectively, maintaining classroom order and ensuring pupils stay focused in undertaking set activities. As a member of our professional services team the successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/leadership staff within an agreed system of supervision. When not required for class supervision the successful candidate will carry out administrative tasks to support the working of the school.
The cover supervisor role is a part-time, role on a term time basis from September to early May. This may afford the successful applicant the opportunity to explore personal interests and commitments over a longer summer period. There will also be the option for the successful applicant to take on additional duties from early May to late June in the role of external exam invigilator if they wish. We’re open to discuss part-time working options and applicants interested in discussing options are asked to indicate this within their application.
This post is permanent, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 26 weeks term time. The role will attract a part-time salary of £11,057 (including holiday pay).
