Applications are invited from candidates for two separate posts; Deputy Head Academic and Deputy Head Pastoral with effect from September 2019.
Following the retirement of the current Deputy Head at the end of this academic year, the role is being separated into two key areas. The successful candidates will report directly to the Headmaster and will work in close collaboration with other members of the Senior Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.

Situated in Abingdon, The Manor Preparatory School is an independent, co-educational day school that welcomes children aged 2-11.

The Manor’s most recent ISI Inspection saw the school receive the highest possible rating of ‘Excellent’ in all areas. Inspectors commented that “Pupils approach every day with an overwhelming passion to learn and develop.”
This is in part due to the exceptionally caring and invigorating tone of the school, where laughter is an essential part of the school day. Children’s personal development is further strengthened by staff who act as excellent role models.

Headmaster, Alastair Thomas, says “Our job is to prepare children for life, not just senior school.”
