Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who will be responsible for building on the strong foundations that have been laid down in the last five years around regular giving at St Paul’s, and taking it to the next level as we prepare to launch a new multi-million pound campaign. The post works across the whole of the St Paul’s community - Old Paulines, parents of current and/or former pupils, and staff. With a particular focus on regular giving, the Development Manager will work closely with the Director and Associate Director of the department to roll out the regular giving model in an engaging and motivating way.

Strong experience working in fundraising is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility required on occasions due to the nature of the post.

St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students and teachers alike.

St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.

Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
