(PART TIME, MATERNITY COVER)

To commence November 2019

Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you have previous excellent experience of working in an outstanding nursery,  pre-school or childcare setting?  We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring individual to join our hardworking and committed team based in our Early Years setting with over 80 children at RGS The Grange. You will be required to act as a key person for groups of children aged 3/4 and instil a love of learning into your designated children helping them to flourish. Ideally you will have at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare. For the right candidate training and support through apprenticeship levels could be available. 

Our Early Years staff work during term time and for five weeks in the School holidays, typically working around 41 weeks a year, based on the length of a given academic year.  More hours could be available if desired.    The Early Years Department is open between 7.45am and 6.00pm daily.  Staff work an agreed set pattern and are paid in equal monthly instalments throughout the year.  The available post is for 23.5 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, based on this year's agreed rota.

Support Staff will be paid on the RGS Support Staff Pay Scale and starting salary will be based on qualifications and relevant experience.
