Taunton School was founded in 1847. It is an independent day and boarding school with approximately 1,150 pupils, aged from 0 - 18 years, with circa 400 boarders. We aim to challenge, nurture and inspire young people to succeed in a global community.
The Taunton School Foundation is well established and has enjoyed significant growth and success over recent years. Our mission is to engage a global community of Old Tauntonians, parents and friends to support our philanthropic aims. We fundraise for bursaries and capital projects, enhancing the experience of every child at Taunton School. We work closely with our parents and the Old Tauntonian Association to produce social events and opportunities to develop professional networks. We need to deliver a programme of events and communication to connect with and engage a wide community of alumni, parents and friends throughout the world as we seek to secure significant philanthropic gifts in support of the exciting next stage in the School’s development.
Our Foundation team would like to appoint an Events Co-ordinator and Administrator who is as passionate about education as we are. Reporting directly to the Foundation Director and working closely with the Foundation Officer, the postholder will be an enthusiastic and capable administrator with excellent communication skills. You will have experience in event co-ordination and have a good understanding of databases.
The position will suit someone with well-developed administration skills, a keen eye for detail and an interest in events, communication and fundraising.
