Teacher of English

Our thriving English department has a full time vacancy for a dynamic teacher of English who is committed to active learning and passing on their enthusiasm for the subject.
The department offers courses in English Language, English Literature, and English Language & Literature A level as well as re-sit GCSE and Functional Skills English. The successful candidate will be required to teach a combination of Level 2 and Level 3 courses.
The salary will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ scale (£27,198- £42,550 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting). Progression will be by one scale point each year, subject to satisfactory appraisal outcomes, until scale 9 is reached.
