We wish to appoint, for September 2019, enthusiastic and committed university graduates to coach sport, help in boarding houses, to assist with the weekend activities programme, and to assist in an academic department appropriate to the strengths of the graduate. Applicants must have the ability to coach at least one sport from rowing, hockey, rugby, netball, lacrosse and cricket, along with the willingness to help in other sports.
Reliable, punctual and motivated to deliver the highest standards in education, applicants will also be willing to be involved in boarding house duties. These positions are designed to allow graduates who might be considering a teaching career to experience life in a boarding school as fully as possible. A number of our previous graduates have gone on to complete teacher training courses. We are also happy to receive applications from those wishing to take a year out, but not necessarily considering teaching as a career.
Canford has one of the most beautiful settings of any school in the country and is a very enjoyable and exciting atmosphere in which to work.
