Applications are sought for the following position:


– Part time, temporary (4 hours per week) for the 2021 school year

St John’s Primary School Mullumbimby, has a position available for a suitably qualified and experienced Grounds and Maintenance person to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of the school grounds, buildings and property, and to ensure that systems are operating effectively. The successful applicant will be required to commence February 2021.


 Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles;

 Ability to work as part of a team;

 Current NSW Driver’s Licence;

 Extensive trades and maintenance experience;

 Knowledge of maintenance systems and equipment, including building and grounds;

 Knowledge of OHS legislation and procedures.

 Valid NSW Working with Children Check;


 Tradesman qualifications (e.g. Building, electrical, plumbing, metal working);

 Experience as a grounds and maintenance coordinator.


The position is 4 hours per week. This position will be remunerated in accordance with the School Operational Services Stream (NSW & ACT Catholic Systemic Schools) Enterprise Agreement 2020 as a Maintenance/Outdoor Employee.
