Caldicott is one of the country’s most prestigious Independent Boarding and Day Preparatory Schools for Boys. We are a flourishing school with around 270 boys from 7 to 13 years old, with all boys boarding in the final two years.  We deliver a first class education, sporting provision and a rich variety of music, drama, arts and extracurricular opportunities, in a friendly and supportive working environment.  The School is only twenty miles from central London in a beautiful location.

We have a new opportunity for a Groundsperson to join our dedicated team and help us carry out the day-to-day preparation and maintenance of 40 acres of beautiful grounds, playing fields and gardens. 

We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated and reliable person with particular experience in the preparation of cricket pitches and the preparation of sports pitches, hard surfaces, school gardens and boundaries. You will have appropriate Institute of Groundsmanship qualifications or equivalent, particularly in the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches. A PA 1, 2 and 6 spraying certificate would be desirable. This is a full time role and will require early morning and some weekend working. The position requires own transport, plus a clean driving licence.
