We need a highly motivated and inspiring colleague to join us as the Head of our Autism Resource Base (ARB) from September 2024. You will have a passion for working with Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to ensure they receive the education they deserve. Our ARB is designed for up to 25 students who have a primary diagnosis of ASD. It will be your responsibility to ensure that they receive the best education within the inclusive context of the school.

You will bring an innovative and creative approach to supporting the strategic direction and development of the ARB at Deptford Green, while effectively managing and developing the progress and achievement of our students. You will embody Deptford Green's GREAT values.

You will be responsible for the performance management and deployment of a team of enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants, so good leadership and management skills are essential.

Although ideally, we are seeking someone with Qualified Teaching Status, for the right candidate we will consider someone without, so please still enquire or apply if you think you are suitable and only have support staff experience.
