Located on an attractive campus close to Huddersfield town centre, with an easy commute from much of the North West and Yorkshire, Greenhead College has been providing the highest quality academic Sixth Form College (16-18) education in the area for 40 years.

Greenhead College is recognised locally and nationally as a leading provider of education and has a long history of exceptional results. Our examination results are outstanding: the pass rate at A Level is extremely high, as is the proportion of students gaining top grades. In national education tables Greenhead College is ranked third in two key categories: firstly, in terms of high student grades in key academic subjects valued by leading universities and secondly, for ‘value added’, the measure which judges how much progress students have made on their course since their GCSEs.

The Business Department at Greenhead College teaches Pearsons A Level Business and was rated ‘Outstanding’ at the most recent Ofsted inspection. The department is among the most successful in the College and consistently achieves outstanding results and value added.

The College wishes to appoint a Head of Business to manage our large and highly successful department. The successful applicant will manage a team of six teachers, in addition to teaching up to four groups towards A Level examinations in Business. We are first and foremost looking for a Head of Department who is highly committed to quality teaching, a well organised administrator and a strong leader and motivator.
