Job overview

Beckford Primary School is a safe, inclusive school, home to a diverse, creative, aspirational and happy pupil population. We have an incredibly professional and highly committed team of staff, a strong governing body, an active parent community and a collaborative local authority. Together we work tirelessly to ensure that Beckford Primary School provides an excellent, holistic, child-centred education that meets the needs of the community it serves.

This is a great time to lead Beckford Primary School. Building on the good work already achieved, this is an exciting opportunity to develop the school further and lead it towards Outstanding. It will, however, take an exceptional, creative, and resilient leader to do so.

To be successful you will be either a serving deputy or existing headteacher with a proven track record of improving standards within your current school. You will have an outward looking and collaborative approach, have an understanding of high quality teaching and learning, and possess excellent leadership, management and communication skills.

Your passion, vision, ability and belief in inclusive education should inspire the whole school, ensuring that we continue our focus on high standards to drive up attainment levels, with every pupil making excellent progress.

If you can help us strive for excellence whilst maintaining a diverse, rich curriculum and inspire others through building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and members of the wider local community, then we would like to hear from you.
