Job overview
We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced HLTA to join our Inclusion team. You will be expected to:
• Assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning
• Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
• Implement IEPs where these are in place for named pupils
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
• Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs
• Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities
• Promote independence and employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement of self-reliance
The successful candidates must have relevant recent experience and qualifications, a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop own learning to enhance the service delivered.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality.
