Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Inclusion (Resource Base)

We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced HLTA to support our Resource Base Unit. 

The HLTA Inclusion role is specifically to support with the initial assessment of SEND and to develop, implement and review individual education plans (IEPs) for existing identified students.

You will be expected to;

• Use specialist skills and knowledge to assess the needs of pupils to develop, implement and review individual education plans (IEPs) for identified students
• To contribute to the drive to raise standards of pupils’ attainment, achievement and behaviour for learning within a given curriculum area
• To share the accountability for promoting monitoring and supporting pupil progress and development within the curriculum area
• Plan, prepare, deliver, assess, report and mark learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes under an agreed system of supervision

The successful candidates must have relevant recent experience and qualifications, a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop own learning to enhance the service delivered. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality.
