Bournville School is seeking to appoint an innovative and highly motivated HLTA to lead in teaching and learning intervention strategies for the KS3 SEND EAL/Progress Group. The successful candidate will join a strong and enthusiastic team in the Secondary School where teachers are committed to delivering a high quality, lively and interesting curriculum to challenge and inspire all our students.  The successful candidate will have experience of working and supporting children with SEND and EAL and be required to teach at Key Stage 3 supporting Year 7 and 8 pupils with Mathematics and English.  

You should have excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour and a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.

These posts are covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
