OUR SCHOOL
The BCAT Trust consists of 3 schools: Barton Court Grammar School, an 11-18 years co-educational grammar school in the heart of Canterbury; The Charles Dickens School, an 11-16 years co-educational non-selective school in Broadstairs and opening in 2022 a Free School, Barton Manor School, an 11-18 years co-educational non-selective school co-sited with Barton Court Grammar School.
An outstanding Teacher of Business Studies is required for September 2021, in this over-subscribed non-selective, co-educational school which benefits from the state-of-the-art new buildings and is situated in a beautiful part of the South East coast.
The School enjoys a good reputation locally, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students. Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to continue to raise attainment and achievement.
The successful candidate should be highly qualified, dynamic and able to deliver outstanding lessons. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work within a strong, successful and supportive department and would suit an enthusiastic NQT or a more experienced professional looking to further their expertise. The ability to teach Business Studies to GCSE is essential and Travel and Tourism desirable.
This post carries a TLR2c payment of £5,105.00 per annum.
