Job description

This is an exciting time to join The Charles Dickens School, as it joined Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT) on 1 March 2017, working in partnership with Barton Court Grammar School, an outstanding rated co-educational grammar school in Canterbury. This new venture will see The Charles Dickens students and staff benefit from outstanding leadership and the sharing of best practice. The Trust is committed to excellence in professional development.

The Post

A dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher of Spanish is required for September 2018 in this over-subscribed, non-selective, co-educational school which benefits from state-of-the-art new buildings and is situated in a beautiful part of the South East cost.  The School enjoys a good reputation locally, with dedicated colleagues and enthusiastic students.  Staff hold high expectations for all students and work tirelessly to continue to raise attainment and achievement. Students who are in the “grammar stream” study Spanish at KS3 and are encouraged to study Spanish at KS4 as part of the EBACC pathway.
