The Kayton Library, overlooking the Thames, is the cornerstone of the redeveloped St Paul’s School. With views over the River Thames it is a civilised, calm and scholarly environment in which to pursue academic study.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified professional Librarian to manage the day-to-day running of the library, ensuring that an effective resource and information service is provided to the entire school community. The successful candidate will have previous library management experience and be confident working with both pupils and academic staff.
Salary: c £35k per annum, pro rata of the full time equivalent of £44k
This is a term time only post (plus 4 weeks to be worked at the beginnings and ends of school terms)

About St Paul's School
St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.
Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
