We wish to appoint a creative and organised individual to act as a technician to our outstanding Music and Drama departments. You will be technically minded with experience of using lighting and sound systems. You will need to relate well to young people. You will need to be flexible with hours - to fit the needs of the curriculum, and be available for the occasional evening work to cover performances.

Westfield is an 11-16 co-educational school, in Somerset, serving the town of Yeovil and the surrounding villages. It is a child centred organisation that has exemplary behaviour and an unmatched pastoral system that puts the welfare of students and staff at its core. Student numbers have grown along with its reputation within the area and we were heavily oversubscribed in the last five year’s intake. There has been significant investment in the site over the last few years, including new sports facilities and Creative Arts spaces. Yeovil is a growing town and the Academy has seen its student numbers increase to 1055 this year.
