Job overview
The Network Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring the IT infrastructure throughout the School and ensuring the highest possible standards of access and curriculum delivery for staff, pupils and the wider school community. You will ensure devices and services used across the School are fit for purpose, secure and maintained to the highest standards.
Specific duties include managing the School’s server, maintaining and managing the School's network and cloud-based solutions, installing hardware and software, ensuring that equipment and programmes are running effectively and carrying out day-to-day maintenance issues and repairs.
You will hold a recognised computer or network management qualification with experience, preferably in an education setting (training and support will be provided), a thorough and current working knowledge of IT systems, and experience of maintaining and supporting networks and installing and configuring computer hardware.
You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to staff, pupils and the wider school community, together with the commitment to provide a responsive and supportive service, including the flexibility and capacity to adapt to the demands of the job.
