St Catherine’s is an independent, Catholic girls’ day school, situated in Twickenham, Middlesex. It is an all-through school accepting girls aged 3-18 and currently has 440 pupils.
St Catherine’s was established in 1914 by the Sisters of Mercy; since 1991 the school has been fully independent, and proud to continue a values-based, Christian education for girls of all faiths, and to promote resilience, compassion and confidence in young women. The school has excellent facilities which include recent developments of the Prep department, dining facilities and sports facilities, as well as a new Sixth Form Centre and Science block.
The school’s motto is "Non verba sed facta" (Not words but deeds). At St Catherine’s, emphasis is placed on enabling pupils to realise their gifts and talents, within a community that values friendship and belonging; pupils are encourage to be wholehearted in their contribution to school life and in their attitude to others.
