PA to the Principal and Associate Principals and HR Administrator

35 hours per week term time only plus 5 days to be worked in College closures

Actual Salary £20,432 per annum (pro-rata of £23,575)

We need a Person Friday to act as assistant to our Principal and Associate Principals and contribute to administration in the HR Department. The Senior Team do tackle a great deal of administration activities personally but need assistance in higher order administrative skills and organisation.

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining diaries and booking external meetings; minuting meetings; being the first point of call for dealing with face to face, telephone and written queries and request; organising events and conference bookings; organising travel and accommodation; compiling and preparing reports; managing the Principal’s accounts and maintaining effective and efficient filing systems. You will work within the small HR Team, assisting with HR duties when required (full training will be provided). You will require a good sense of humour, the ability to remain calm and professional in potentially testing circumstances, the versatility to work independently and as a team player, and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent minute-taking skills are essential. Formal qualifications in administration will be an advantage but are not essential if you have experience of working in a similar role.
