Taunton School is over 170 years old and is an Independent School for approximately 1000 boys and girls aged 0-18 years, with circa 300 boarders. We aim to challenge, inspire and nurture young people to succeed in a global community.
We are seeking to appoint a talented Part Time Teacher of Mandarin from January to May 2018 to teach up to A Level. The School are looking for a candidate who has experience in delivering the School syllabus. The core duty of this post is to prepare our Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13) native Chinese students for their A Level exam (Edexcel Chinese 2008).
The successful candidate for the role of Part Time Teacher of Mandarin will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong linguistic background and a passion for sharing this.
This role is part time and fixed term and, in recognition of this, the School would welcome applications from candidates who are willing to undertake the work via a Skype arrangement.
