Project Accountant

Full time, 3 year temporary position 


The purpose of the Project Account is to work with the Catholic Schools Office and the schools in the Catholic Diocese of Lismore to roll out TechnologyOne across the diocese.

The Project Accountant will support the schools with the implementation and configuration of TechnologyOne, its integration with Compass (Student Information System) from a finance perspective, and will provide training and ongoing support to end-users. The position will also provide TechnologyOne support to the CSO and assist with implementing further modules whilst designing reports as required.

The Project Accountant will work closely with the CT1 Project Manager.

 Applicants must:

  • have a current NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and CA/CPA qualification
  • have a current driver’s license and willingness to undertake travel to fulfil the requirements of the role.

 Selection Criteria:

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise finance systems, preferably TechnologyOne.
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
  • A thorough approach to documentation of process; e.g. Training and Support documentation.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal.
  • An ability to analyse issues, problems and their implications.
  • An ability to work both in a team and autonomously so can take ownership of issues and projects.
