Exeter School is the leading co-educational day school in the South West, educating 950 pupils aged 7-18. Situated on a 25-acre site near the city centre, our strong links to the local community, well-established pastoral care systems and fantastic teaching enable us to challenge, inspire and deliver the very best learning to our pupils.
We are looking to appoint a Sixth Form Administrator to join our sixth form team from 1st September 2022.
You will work closely with the Assistant Head (Head of Sixth Form) and play an important role in building on what is already a happy and thriving sixth form. Exeter School currently has 209 pupils in the sixth form.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, time management, IT, and interpersonal skills along with a “can do” attitude. As well as providing administrative support for the Head of Sixth Form, the role requires the management of and the provision of support and advice to pupils and liaison with the wider staff (especially heads of house and sixth form tutors).
This is a permanent, term time (plus 10 days in holidays) position working 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch.
The role will attract an actual salary in the region of £18,750 p.a. (full time equivalent in the region of £24,500) dependent on qualifications and experience.
