Dingwall Academy is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form in the Highland area of Scotland. It caters to students aged 11 to 18 and has approximately 1,200 pupils enrolled.
Dingwall Academy was founded in the 1930s and has undergone lots of renovations and changes. In 2008, a new £28 million school was built. It now has a range of specialist facilities, such as a state-of-the-art drama studio, all-weather pitches and library.

The school aims to be a place that inspires both staff and students to do extraordinary things. The main values are respect, responsibility, honesty and determination and it hopes to do this by developing each students’ ability to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
The curriculum emphasises the core subjects of English, maths, language and P.E. Pupils then choose from the expressive arts, science, a social subject and technological subject and two ad-hoc choices to fill out the rest of their studies.
