Job overview
Teacher of Chemistry
For January 2021, Exeter School seeks a well-qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry graduate to teach in this busy and thriving department. The position would be equally suited to either a newly qualified or a more experienced applicant.
Aside from a passion for teaching Chemistry, the applicant should be keen to contribute to the extra-curricular provision provided by the department, to Science Outreach work and to the broader life of the school through cultural, sporting or other extra-curricular activities.
The ability to teach another science subject to KS3 could be advantageous but is not essential.
Completed application forms, together with a covering letter should be uploaded to the TES jobsite or sent by email to the Headmaster’s P.A. Mrs Kim Leach (Tel: 01392 273679; e-mail: head@exeterschool.org.uk)
Closing date for applications: Tuesday 23 June, 12 noon
This post falls into the category of Regulated Activity. Exeter School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
