Sport, Public Services, Travel & Tourism Department
Teacher in Functional Skills (Maths & English) – Ref 186
Hours – 26 hours per week (3 days)
Salary - £15,757 - £17, 182 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, learner-focused, inspirational individual to strengthen our outstanding Sport, Public Services, Travel & Tourism team as a Teacher of Functional Skills. The successful candidate will support the delivery of Teaching & Learning activities, promote independent learning outside of the classroom and provide additional, extended, 1:1 and group learning and study activities across both curriculum areas.
Candidates will be learner and quality-focused; their learners will be constantly stretched and challenged to achieve their full potential and they will accept nothing other than ‘outstanding’ outcomes and levels of performance.
