St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores. These endeavours, as well as the work beyond the curriculum, excite students and teachers alike.
TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS
Starting Autumn Term 2019
St Paul’s Mathematics department is one of the largest departments in the School, with large numbers of boys studying post-GCSE. The Departmental philosophy is opposed to acceleration, strongly preferring enrichment, expansion and greater depth. We value a genuine passion for mathematics, and its teaching at all levels. The successful candidate should also be willing to contribute to the wider life of the School. Applications are equally welcome from those with experience of teaching and those without.
The School’s salary scale is substantially above the national scale and a subsidised accommodation scheme is available to eligible staff.
Further details and an application form can be obtained from the School’s website: www.stpaulsschool.org.uk via the ‘Vacancies’ link in the footer, or by email from the High Master’s PA on email@example.com .
The closing date for all applications is midday on Monday 18 March 2019.
Interviews will take place on Monday 25 March 2019.
St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Juniors are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employer and the Disclosure and Barring Service. St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Juniors are an equal opportunities employer.
