Teacher of Mathematics (Second in Department opportunity available)

We wish to appoint an inspirational teacher of Mathematics with the skills to teach Key Stages 3, 4 and A Level. You will be someone who can communicate their passion for Mathematics to their pupils. A willingness to establish a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, reflecting the personal interests of the successful candidate and working closely with the Head of Mathematics, is greatly encouraged. The opportunity to be Second in Department may be available to the right candidate.

You will be joining a team of innovative and highly motivated teachers who constantly strive to provide the finest education and ever-expanding opportunities to get the very best out of our pupils, while fostering a love of learning through delivery of high quality, exciting and active lessons.

The Mathematics Department has enjoyed very strong iGCSE results recently, achieving 100% A*-C. Our top set enter for the AQA Level 2 certificate in Further Mathematics. We compete in the UKMT Maths Challenges and have a thriving extra-curricular programme designed to bring Mathematics to life and engender a real love of the subject. We have a strong uptake at A Level, including Further Maths, with our top pupils applying to Oxbridge.
