Job overview
Queensway School is now part of the Learning Community Trust. This is a specialist provision for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health diagnosis. The school is situated in Dawley, Telford.
Currently we have 60 students (Y5-Y11) on roll who are taught by a team of specialist teachers and support staff. Students are in small classes of 6/8 students to support their learning and the model is of a teacher plus teaching assistant in each class.

Background:
Queensway is now part of an Academy through the Learning Community Trust, based in Telford. We are part of a family of schools working together to ensure the best outcomes for the students in our care.

Queensway caters for young people with a diagnosis of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with additional complex needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD).
Students can join us from Year 5 in our Primary Phase and remain with us until leaving in Year 11.
