A well-qualified and motivated graduate is required to join our vibrant curriculum area within the Performing Arts faculty. The ability to teach across Key Stages 3 & 4 is essential. The school has an excellent reputation for Performing Arts Productions and the Music department also plays a very active role in the wider community and our extensive extra-curricular programme. This post is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers.

Weatherhead High School is an extremely successful school. In our OFSTED inspection, we were judged as outstanding in every category. The report noted that “students make outstanding progress whatever their starting point or circumstances and the standards they achieve are significantly above national averages”. In 2016 and 2017, the school achieved a positive P8 score, this year placing us in the top 18% of schools in the country.

Weatherhead High School is an extremely successful school. In our OFSTED inspection, we were judged as outstanding in every category. Weatherhead is a high performing academy with exceptional resources. The school is oversubscribed on intake with a ten form entry each year at Year 7. 

Through our work as a Teaching School we offer outstanding CPD and Leadership Training for all staff.
