Job overview

We wish to make an appointment of 1 to 2 new staff members to our team of Teaching Assistants at Queensway School (North and South site) due to growth in student numbers. Experience of working with pupils with an Autism diagnosis or SEMH would be an advantage but not essential.

The post would require the candidate to support students from Y5 – Y11 across all areas of the curriculum.  Working with our skilful team of specialist teachers. Teaching groups have an average size of 8/9 students.

Queensway is a highly successful Special School for students on the North site with a diagnosis of Autism and the South site with a diagnosis of SEMH.  We are now an academy and part of the Learning Community Trust working with a number of schools across Telford & Wrekin.
