Job overview

Conisborough College is looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants with specialist knowledge across a range of subject areas, including SEN, who will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching staff by establishing productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, setting high expectations for achievement and promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom. There are both permanent and temporary opportunities available.  

You will be working under the guidance of teaching staff to implement work programmes to individuals or groups, assist in whole planning cycle and management / preparation of resources and provide cover for whole classes for short periods under an agreed system of supervision.  Specialist knowledge in particular subject areas such as maths or science are desirable.  The successful candidates must have relevant recent experience and qualifications, a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop own learning to enhance the service delivered. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality.
