We wish to appoint to our successful Teaching Assistant/Cover Team to support a range of students with Special Educational Needs in order to enable their progress. This role also requires the effective delivery of lessons in the absence of the usual classroom teacher. 

This post is suitable for experienced candidates as well as those with aspirations of becoming a qualified teacher.

Please note, the minimum essential requirements for this post include GCSE Maths & English at Grade ‘C’ or above.

We are an 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1400 students on roll. We are significantly oversubscribed and we are always a popular first choice for families in Hull and the East Riding. We are a very successful school academically; our students achieve excellent outcomes. We are proud that Ofsted judged our school as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

We are the lead secondary school in a developing Multi Academy Trust; this currently consists of six Hull primary schools and two secondary schools. In the summer of 2017 we were awarded ‘Teaching School’ status and Kelvin Hall is now the lead school in the 'Northern Co-operative Teaching School Alliance'.
