OLA is an independent, coeducational day school located just outside Oxford which provides a warm, supportive atmosphere in which exceptional pastoral care and an innovative, inclusive culture underpin all that we do.  

We are looking for a proactive, organised and efficient person to take on this busy, multi-faceted role within our Creative Arts Faculty. The post-holder will be key to supporting teaching and learning by assisting teaching staff in providing a  rich programme of activities.  

This role will suit an enthusiastic, practical and creative person who is a team player with initiative, highly organised, efficient and able to work proactively.  Good housekeeping and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload to support the combined needs of three busy and successful departments are also essential skills. This is a very active and quite physically demanding role involving lifting and manual handling. 

A good knowledge of the creative arts would be advantageous alongside computer literacy, the ability to process electronic orders and a working knowledge of sewing machines and other textiles equipment. A creative eye would be beneficial for putting up displays and showcasing work.  

Hours of work are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus INSET days.
