We have an exciting opportunity at Southend Adult Community College for Tutors to join our Community Learning team. 

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced tutors in the areas of: High needs learners, Fitness, Dance (older people), Languages in Russian or Italian, Guitar & Music, Family learning, Parenting, Creative Writing, Floristry and Hair & Beauty.

The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners, in order to give them the skills they need to grow on their personal development course. To do this successfully you:  

• Will need to be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in the subject specialism

• Will have up to date commercial experience and hold the relevant subject qualifications 

• Will have previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes

• Will need (or be willing to obtain this within 1 year, delivered at SACC) a Diploma in Education and Training at Level 3 

Please note applicants will work on an hourly paid basis. Work will be offered on availability and enrolment numbers.

We offer excellent support, training and mentoring to all new members of staff.

This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
