We have an exciting opportunity at Southend Adult Community College for a Tutor of Employability to join our Skills for Life & Enterprise team.
The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners, in order to give them the skills they need to have a better and brighter future. To do this successfully you:
- Will need to be passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in the subject specialism
- Will have up to date occupational experience and relevant subject qualifications (or be willing to obtain this within 3 years)
- Will have previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes
- Will need to have a Diploma in Education and Training at Level 5 (or be willing to obtain this within 3 years)
The successful applicant will have experience of delivering courses to prepare adults for interviews and work.
We offer excellent support, training and mentoring to all new members of staff.
This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
