An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Work Placement team at Barnsley College as a Work Placement Coordinator.

37 hours per week

Fixed term contract until 31 July 2021

£19,220 - £20,296 per annum

This is a challenging and rewarding role, supporting employers, curriculum leads and students to identify negotiate and support opportunities for learners to engage with the world of work through extended Industry Placements.

We require individuals who are positive, tenacious and dedicated to achieving excellence; in return, you will join an outstanding college environment with excellent support and professional development opportunities.

Experience in an education or training setting is a plus, but not essential, and we welcome applications from those who can evidence wider experience in business settings in areas such as sales, marketing, customer services, recruitment, as well as in industries which complement our vocational delivery.

What is essential is a commitment to developing learners, outstanding learner experience and transforming lives.

The post holder will need to attend meetings outside of college.

There are 3 posts available; all of which are fixed term in the first instance, for one year until the end of July 2021 due to external funding.
